The Add-ons section of Organizations Manager allows show management to set up, associate, and sell enhanced online profile functionality and dedicated sponsorship advertisements for display across the site.
This feature can be set for shows with the following event packages:
➔ EMM Plus with EDC Sales or EDC Partnership add-ons
➔ EMM Pro with EDC Sales or EDC Partnership add-ons
Sell Enhanced Online Profile Functionality
With the EDC Sales package and Partnership program, show management can sell additional enhanced profile functionality as a la carte add-ons. Sellable features include the ability for exhibitors to upload a company logo, featured photo, cover photo or purchase a custom vanity URL.
If an add-on is not associated with the listed feature, all exhibitors have access to their functionality; however, once the add-on is set, only those who have purchased it can fulfill the purchased upload or see their modified profile link.
Sell Exhibitor Logo
The exhibitor logo is visible on the exhibitor list (Org > Org List block) when the Module Layout field is set to Horizontal. It also appears on the org cover block on the exhibitor's booth profile.
Before starting the setup process, you must create the financial item type and complete the add-on setup process in Global Admin.
After creating the order, follow the steps below to set up and sell the ability to upload a company logo:
- Navigate to Admin Panel ➔ Site Building Tools ➔ Organizations Manager ➔ Add-Ons
- Next to Upload Logo, click the Associate Add-on button
- Select the appropriate add-on from the dropdown menu
- Click the Add button
Sell Featured Photo
If uploaded, the Featured Photo replaces the company logo on the exhibitor list when the Module Layout field is set to Horizontal.
Important: After setup, this feature prevents exhibitors who do not have the order associated with their GA record from displaying a unique company logo on their booth profile > org cover block.
Before starting the setup process, you must create the financial item type and complete the add-on setup process in Global Admin.
After creating the order, follow the steps below to set up and sell the ability to upload a featured photo:
- Navigate to Admin Panel ➔ Site Building Tools ➔ Organizations Manager ➔ Add-Ons
- Next to Upload Featured Photo, click the Associate Add-on button
- Select the appropriate add-on from the dropdown menu
- Click the Add button
Sell Profile Cover Photo
The cover photo is visible on the exhibitor list (Org > Org Cover block) on the exhibitor's booth profile.
Before starting the setup process, you must create the financial item type and complete the add-on setup process in Global Admin.
After creating the order, follow the steps below to set up and sell the ability to upload a cover photo:
- Navigate to Admin Panel ➔ Site Building Tools ➔ Organizations Manager ➔ Add-Ons
- Next to Upload Cover Photo, click the Associate Add-on button
- Select the appropriate add-on from the dropdown menu
- Click the Add button
Sell Exhibitor Vanity URL
Exhibitors can purchase an upgraded link to their profile page, known in the system as a Vanity URL. This link can also be tied to a purchased level or an add-on.
Before starting the setup process, you must create the financial item type and complete the add-on setup process in Global Admin.
After creating the order, follow the steps below to set up and sell the ability to purchase a Vanity URL:
- Navigate to Admin Panel ➔ Site Building Tools ➔ Organizations Manager ➔ Add-Ons
- Next to the Vanity URL option, click the Associate Add-on button
- Select the appropriate add-on from the dropdown menu
- Click the Add button
Sell a la carte Sponsorship Advertisements
Events using the EMM Plus & Pro packages with the EDC Sales add-on or enrollment in the Partnership program have the option to sell sponsorship advertisements as an a la carte add-on.
Important: Sponsorship Advertisements may be included in either the booth upgrade package or sold as an a la carte item, but not both. If an add-on order is associated via the Org Mgr > Add-Ons section, the option to enable sponsorships in booth upgrade packages from the Org Mgr > Details table is disabled.
Additionally, it is important to note that companies may only purchase one of each type of sponsorship advertisement. Specifically, a company may only purchase one skyscraper, one leaderboard, or one billboard add-on as the Portal only allows for uploading one image per advertisement type.
Once the exhibitor fulfills the sponsorship add-on via the Org > Org Profile block, it will appear on the Org > Sponsor block, which can be placed on any page throughout the portal.
Before starting the setup process, you must create the financial item type and complete the sponsorship item and add-on setup process in Global Admin.
After creating the order, follow the steps below to set up and sell the ability to purchase a Sponsorship Advertisement:
- Navigate to Admin Panel ➔ Site Building Tools ➔ Organizations Manager ➔ Add-Ons
- Next to the desired sponsorship advertisement type option, click the Associate Add-on button
- Select the appropriate add-on from the dropdown menu
- Click the Add button
