The Add-On Setup tool provides functionality to create add-on listings available for exhibitors to purchase on their online contract or from the stand-alone page in their console.

- Participation in the Partnership program or Enhanced Digital Content Sales Package.

Setup Exhibitor Online Profile Upgrade Packages (Optional)
In addition to setting up add-ons for exhibitor online profile upgrade packages in Global Admin, upgrade packages must also be set up in the Event Portal > Organizations Manager > Details Table.
After configuring exhibitor upgrade packages, set up EDC add-ons in your Event Portal to associate digital listings and other add-ons available for purchase by exhibitors.
Set Up Financial Items
Begin by creating the required financial items in Financial Setup:
- Navigate to Financials > Settings > Financial Setup.
- Click the Item name to update existing items or use the New Item form to add additional items to the rate card.

- Required Item Fields include:
- Name
- Price
- Item Type
- Item Code
- Inventory
- Inventory=0 is unlimited
- Inventory>0 will display SOLD OUT when the inventory has been exhausted.
- Add-ons ignore the following item types:

Create a New Add-on Type
Begin creating a new add-on type by completing the following steps:
- Navigate to Financials > Settings > Add-On Setup.
- Complete the New Add-on Type form:

Name - Type in the name of this add-on selection group.
Important Note: This is not displayed on the public form.

Display Name - Enter the name that appears on the AddOnSales.aspx and e_BoothSales.aspx site pages. (see below for sample output)

Display on Page(s) - Select checkboxes to control visibility for the specific add-on type on the e_AddOnSales.aspx and e_BoothSales.aspx site pages.
- Add-on Sales - the stand-alone page, usually linked from the exhibitor console.
- Booth Sales - the Online Exhibit Contract page.

Sort Order - Specify the order in which this add-on type appears relative to the other types.
Important Note: Duplicate sort order numbers can not be designated.

Control Type (Samples below) - Specify the appearance of add-on options in the selection form. Control type options include:
- DropDown List - Used for add-ons that sell a quantity of an item. (e.g., Videos.)
- Check Box List - Used for add-ons where purchasers can select one or more items at a time from the add-on type group. (e.g., Banner Ads, Logos)

Radio Button List - Used for add-ons where purchasers can only select one option at a time from the add-on type group. (e.g., Basic/Silver/Gold/Platinum booth upgrades.)

Populate from Last Year's Event? - Select to control automatic pre-answers based on purchase selections from the previous event.
Note: Select the Editable by Users checkbox to allow purchasers to modify selected add-on(s) if desired.

Editable by Users - Select to control the access for purchasers to modify selections while completing the form.
Note: Leave this field unchecked if this option is included, or required, based on your own process.
- Click Add to create the new type.
Important Note: Click the Reset button to clear the New Add-on Type form. This action does not create a new type.

Name - Type in the name of this add-on selection group.

Associated Add On
Begin associating add-ons for the new add-on Type by completing the following steps:
- From the Add-On Type List, click the linked value in the Associated Add-Ons column for the desired type.
- Complete the New Add-on form:

Add-On Type - Displays the add-on type group to be associated with this individual item.
- Item* - Select an item from the Financial Setup item list. If the item is not listed, return to the Financial Setup page to create the item.
Note: An Opt Out item option is listed that allows for a No Purchase or Not Interested’ option.

Display Name - Enter the add-on item name and additional details.
Note: This information appears for the purchasing company to see on the site page. Use the WYSIWYG tools to add text formatting, images, and hyperlinks.

Sort Order (Check Box or Radio Button) or Max Quantity for Purchase (Drop Down List only)
- Sort Order - Specify the order in which this add-on appears relative to the other add-ons in the list.

Max Quantity for Purchase - Enter a value to designate a maximum number of purchases permitted by a single company for this add-on item.

Preselect Add-On - Select to control automatic pre-selections when the form is loaded.

Booth Config Upgrade Level - Select a package upgrade level from the dropdown list to automatically associate the add-on with a booth upgrade package.
- By default, this field is set to Basic, and will not change the existing upgrade level of the booth.

Custom Booth Config Field - Functionality associated with this setting is no longer in use. Manage purchasable additional booth option (e.g., Videos, Press Releases, etc.) add-ons in the Event Portal to ensure the correct allocation happens on successful purchase.

Click Add to Save to create the add-on.
