Configurations and analytics for individual user profiles, including speaker profiles for conference events and attendee profiles used within Matchmaking.
The Profile Manager controls how user information is structured, displayed, and leveraged across the Event Portal. While it supports multiple use cases, it plays a critical role in powering Matchmaking, user discovery, and profile-based segmentation.
Manage Profile Blocks
Navigate to Admin > Site Building Tools > Profile Manager to access and configure profile field settings:

- An about section will be pre-configured with your system, but you may add any additional fields you'd like to collect.
- Matchmaking considerations:
- If you are utilizing the matchmaking feature and have an attendee integration, a demographics block will be create to pull in your attendee demographics. If you are doing an attendee import, you can add demographics as a block on the profile and import your demographics.
- NOTE: Profile Blocks should only be used in the main body of the Profile section. They are not designed to work on other pages or in Rows.

- Using the Field Editor:
- Click Edit on the block you want to add a field to
- Individual profile field blocks have unique settings to modify the attributes associated with the selected field type.

- Default Cover Photo
- Here you may load in a default cover photo that appears on all user profiles unless they have uploaded their own.
- Profile Field To Segment Mapper
- This is an extremely powerful tool that allows you to map data you collect on the 'About' block to specific user segments. For example, if you collect 'Interest' questions on your About form to gauge what the user logging in is interested in you can map their answers to a prospective exhibitor or attendee segment in the Portal
- Featured Profile Fields
- Featured Profile Fields selected here are visible for users in the Users > Browse Users block and are available as sort options.
- Contact Company & Contact Title are the recommended fields
- Matchmaking considerations:
- If you are using the matchmaking feature it is highly recommended you ensure these fields are set so attendees and exhibitors can see the fields when browsing lists.
- Matchmaking considerations:
- Tasks
- Similar to exhibitor tasks that are set in the Exhibitor Hub, you may also configure tasks to show for your attendees, speakers, etc.
- The block Profile > Profile Tasks will need to be added to the profile/:user_id page in order for users to see these.
- Analytics > Profile Completion
- This section will show which users have completed X % of their profiles.
