In A2Z, there are a few “contact emails” to be aware of:
Company > Company Info > Company Email
This email is intended to be a general info@... email address for the company. Not typically used for communications out of the system.
Company > Company Info > Contact Email
This is the master contact email the system will send an email to if no other ‘contact types’ are associated to the company.
Company > Contacts > Contact Email
The system allows you to track full contact records from the 'Contacts' table and associate them to one or more companies as a ‘Contact Type.’ For example, Primary Contact, Invoice Contact, etc. The system will automatically add the ‘Primary Contact’ and copy the Company > Contact Email when you create a new company record. NOTE: If you try to add a new contact that already has the same email address, the system will throw an error and say the contact already exists in the system
