Zoom is the tool that Personify utilizes for online meetings and webinars. Extremely easy and intuitive to use, Zoom is available for free and allows the participants to preset preferences for their meetings, share their screen and, optionally, share their webcam.
You may choose to download Zoom ahead of time and set up your preferences for Audio and Video (webcam) sharing. Additionally, you can change your Audio and Video preferences at the time that you join a meeting or webinar.
- Create a Zoom Account at http://zoom.us
- Use your preferred email address to create a new account, this will be the email address you want to log in with for meetings and webinars. a2z recommends that you use your work email.

Update your profile and (optional) meeting settings. You may also want to add a picture of yourself to use instead of your webcam video during meetings. If you do not have a picture, and you opt to not use your webcam then just your name will display in the attendee video gallery.

After you have joined a meeting
- Update your preferences for this meeting, using the Zoom bar which will display at the bottom of your screen by default:
- Click Join Audio if you have not already joined the call. You can choose from the following options:
- Phone call - this will display a phone number that you can dial, with the meeting id that you will be prompted to enter to join the meeting
- Computer Audio - Use your computer's mic and speakers, or a headset with integrated microphone. This will connect you over the internet (VoIP)
- Call Me - enter your phone number and the meeting will call you. You will be connected as soon as you answer the call.
- Start Video - This will turn on your webcam so that you can interact with other attendees.
Additional Tip - by clicking the More option, a menu will open and you can access the Audio Options (same as above) and Video Settings (see below)
