In Global Admin, you can change the name, dates and status of the event by going to Events>Settings>Edit Event.
Event Name - The name of the event, as it appears in GlobalAdmin event list, on public site tabs and eventmap, and in From address for event manager.
EventCode - optional. An abbreviation that may be used for internal purposes.
Event Type - the Type that the event belongs to. See article.
Start Date - the start date of the event.
End Date - the end date of the event.
Description - a legacy field, does not impact event settings.
Time - a legacy field, does not impact event settings.
Budget - the over-all budget for the event. May be used in reporting.

Event Status Options:
1. Active
2. Deactivated
3. Archived
1. Active
All events that are Active can be edited, and all modules can be edited
2. Deactivated
Events that are deactivated can be viewed but not edited. All the data is available for viewing and reporting. Deactivated events can be made Active again.
3. Archived
These events are no longer available to be viewed or edited, and the data is only available as a summary. Archived events cannot be recovered.
