Admin accounts must have the Site Messages admin role permission checked to access this tool.
The Site Messages tool can be found by navigating to Admin Panel > Site Building Tools > Site Messages. Similar to the functionality offered by the Template Management feature in Global Admin, this tool offers site admins the capability to customize system-generated messages sent in the Event Portal.
This article reviews the actions you can perform using the Site Messages tool and lists examples of internal and external communications sent by the system.

Details
The Details section allows site admins to configure the Site Name, Admin Name, and Admin Email address. Your A2Z Implementation team initially updates the Site Name to reflect the name of your event when your portal is deployed.
Please Note: The A2Z team does not configure a customized Admin Name or Admin Email address.
On this tab, site admins can manage the following:
- Site Name - Name of the site that appears in outgoing communications.
- Admin Name - Name that appears in the From field of emails sent by the system.
- Admin Email - Email address that appears on outgoing communications.
If the Admin Email is updated, the Sender Authentication setup should also be updated. - Admin Reply-To Email - Email address that receives reply messages. This address may be different than the address listed in the Admin Email field if desired.
- Admin Feedback Email - Email address that receives user feedback regarding the site. This address may be different than the address listed in the Admin Email field if desired.
Sender Authentication
The Sender Authentication tab allows site admins to validate the domain name associated with the event portal URL and outgoing email addresses. Completing this process is critical to ensure the successful delivery of emails if you intend to modify the Admin Email address.
Begin the process by entering the domain name you would like to use to send from and then click the Get Started button. After the page refreshes, custom DNS records are shown which must be added to your domain provider. The portal interface will verify the DNS records are in place and authenticate your email domain.
Contact your A2Z Project Manager for assistance or if you have any further questions about this process.
Site Messages
The Site Messages tab allows portal admins to customize the formatting and contents of automated messages sent to users both internally to their system inbox and externally to their email inbox.
Editable messages are grouped by label headers. Admins can click the Edit button to the right of the desired message to update the contents and formatting within.
