Events > Content> Settings > PR Categories
Press Releases at the Global Level can be associated with PR Categories. These categories can then be used to narrow search results on the Press Release search on the event site. PR Categories are Event Type specific.
Event Type
Each event has an event type, which press releases can be associated. Select an event type from the drop down to create the PR Categories for that type.
List of Press Releases
Once an event type has been selected, any existing PR Categories will be listed. Select a category to edit, or use the add category form below the list to create a new one.
- ID – Unique identifier in the system for this PR Category.
- Press Release Category – The name of the PR Category that will appear in drop downs in Global Admin and on the event site.
- Delete – To remove the PR Category from the system click on the delete hyperlink at the end of the category’s row.
Add Category
Type the PR Category’s name into the text box and click the ‘Add’ button to create a new category for the selected event type.
