Profile Manager: Manage Profile Blocks
Navigate to the Profile Manager in the Admin Panel under Site Building Tools.
The Manage Profile Blocks section is used to manage profile fields available to users.
There are three blocks included by default:
- General Info section is used to capture what user segment the user belongs in; the user is then mapped based on their answers to the correct segment according to the setup on the ‘Profile Field To Segment Mapper’
- Speaker Information section can be used to collect speaker information
- Attendee Information section can be used to collect attendee information
Blocks can be reordered by dragging and dropping.
To create a new profile block, click Create New Profile Block.
To edit an existing block, click the Edit button.
Block Title can be updated as needed. This will be the name of the profile section on the front-end.
‘Enable Block?’ controls whether the block is enabled on the front-end and can be filled out by a user.
Field Editor allows you to add fields and modify existing fields.
Click on a field type under ‘Add Field’ to add a new field to the form.
Rearrange the fields on your form by dragging and dropping.
Enter in ‘Field Settings’ for the field, such as field label, description, whether the field is required etc. You can also restrict the field to only being available to specific user segments.
To delete a field, select the field in the Live Preview and click the red delete icon.
When finished modifying the profile block, click Save.
Profile Manager: Default Cover Photo
Navigate to the Profile Manager in the Admin Panel under Site Building Tools. Select the Default Cover Photo section.
This page allows you to choose a default user profile cover photo.
Click Delete Cover Photo to remove the existing default.
Click Browse to choose a new image and click Upload Cover Photo.
Users can replace the default cover photo on their individual profiles.
Profile Manager: Profile Field to Segment Mapper
Navigate to the Profile Manager in the Admin Panel under Site Building Tools. Select the Profile Field to Segment Mapper section.
This page allows you to put users into specific segments based on their answers to profile block questions.
Profile Completion Tracking
Users, including attendees, speakers, and staff, can track their profile completion progress on their front-end profiles.
A user can navigate to their profile by opening their user menu under their name and selecting view profile.
There will be a percentage complete progress bar and call-to-actions for updating their profile.
Admins can track profile completion progress for all users in the Admin Panel.
Navigate to the Profile Manager in the Admin Panel under Site Building Tools. Select the Analytics: Profile Completion section.
Click Run Report button to generate the report.
Wait until the Status reads Completed and click Download CSV.
The table shows the user, segment(s) they belong to, and their percentage profile complete.
