From the Site Building Tools section of the Admin Panel, click Segments Manager. The Segments Manager screen enables you to create or manage user segments. Segments are used throughout the platform to organize groups of users and control which segments can see what kind of information.
For example, the event portal should only be available to exhibitors, not attendees.
The registration provided will automatically set a user’s segment upon registration.
User Segments can be used to:
- Personalize access to pages and specific blocks of content
- Personalize Profile Questions
- Grant Badges
View a User’s Segments
From the Manage Members section of the Admin Panel, click Members Search. To find a user, enter in criteria to search by and click Search.
Click on the user in the Search Results grid to edit their details.
Select the Segments tab at the bottom of the screen to see which segments the user is in.
