Split using the Next Gen Floorplan
1. Navigate to your floorplan, then click Layout > Split from the right functional bar.
2. Specify the booth you wish to split.
There are two methods to specify which booths you wish to split:
- Method 1: Click the booth on the floorplan
- Method 2: Select the booth number from the Select Booth to Split dropdown list.
3. Click Submit to split the booths.
If successful, a green Success alert appears to confirm the booths are now split and is now reverted to the max layout for the area.
If unsuccessful, a red Error alert appears if the selected booth cannot be split.
Booths cannot be split if there is no max layout for the selected area of the floorplan or the max layout booth is the same size as the booth you've selected.

Troubleshooting
Q: How can I split an 'L', 'C', 'U', or other types of advanced merged booths?
A: Non-Standard booths created via Advanced Merged cannot be split. Instead, you must delete the booth and then use the Revive tool to restore the booths as they appear on the max layout.
Q: The booth I want to split is not able to be selected from the dropdown list or by typing the booth number in. How can I split it if it does not appear on the list?
A: If a booth on your floorplan is not appearing in the dropdown list to be split, review and compare its location with the max layout. If the booth has been moved and does not align with the max layout, it is unable to be split. To resolve the issue, move it back, making sure to line up with the lowest-numbered booth in the selection. Once it is re-aligned, return to the Split tool and it should be available to select.
