PayPal is one of the vendors that can be used to process debit and credit card payments in A2Z via integration with Payflow Pro, Paypal's secure, open payment gateway.
Before you can begin using Payflow Pro services, you must first setup an Internet Merchant Account with your bank and sign up for a Payflow Pro Gateway account.
Complete the following to get started:
- Contact your Company Bank.
a. Set up an Internet Merchant Account for processing web-based credit card transactions. Discuss with your bank which credit cards your site will accept. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or other.
b. Get documentation in writing from your bank, showing all Internet Merchant Account information needed to setup a Payflow Pro Gateway. - Contact PayPal, in order to set up your account.
- Add credentials to GlobalAdmin, and if necessary, adjust PayPal configurations to ensure successful operation of the portal - see Article for settings and configurations.
- Test the configuration by adding a test payment in GlobalAdmin. You may issue yourself a refund once the funds have posted and you have verified that they have arrived correctly.
NOTE: Once your PayPal account is linked to your a2z account, work with your PayPal Sales Account Executive for training on accessing your PayPal account online to run reports, view account transactions, and many other features they offer.
