To Export the report
This is an older report which does not have an export to Excel feature. It can be exported to Excel using the following steps
- View the list of results and scroll down to the bottom of the page
- Click the "Download as ASCII Delimited Format" button
- This produces a text file that is delimited with the pipe ( | ) character.
-
To open it in Excel, go to the Data tab on the ribbon,
-
use the "From Text" option under Get External Data.
-
That will let you specify that the file is delimited, and that the | character is the delimiter.
-
TIP - Make sure to designate the zip code field to be formatted as a zip code when you import the file into Excel. Otherwise, by default Excel will try to treat it as a number and drop the initial zeros.
