This alert will be displayed on the Event and Financial landing pages when the payment gateway is in test mode and Financial Management is turned on in Event Config. This alert serves as a reminder to update your configuration to live mode when you are ready to begin collecting payments.

  "This event is currently configured to use your payment gateway in test mode.  In test mode, payments may be submitted successfully for this event in Global Admin and your event site, but the payment will not be charged to the credit card.  If you are ready to begin accepting live payments, please update the payment gateway Host Address value in Event Config."

This implementation maintains the functionality supported in our existing implementation and adds extensibility so we can build upon the features we currently support. We have added the tokenization feature as a part of this effort.

  This implementation is available for newly deployed events that have not yet begun processing financials for the event as of April 11, 2019. This is not supported retroactively for events already in progress at the time of the release.

  Addressed an issue in which failed void transactions may not be rolled back on the PayPal payment gateway due to a failure on the gateway side. 

  With this change, if a transaction fails while making a credit card payment on the My Account, Booth Sales, Add-on Sales, or Sponsorship sales pages, the system attempts to void the original transaction. If the void transaction fails on the payment gateway, the system will add an entry in the VoidPaymentFailureLog, the verisignlog tables, and an email will be sent to the Finance Manager Email (if blank it will go to the Event Manager Email) indicating that there is a failed transaction to be addressed in their payment gateway. The email body, subject and the from are driven by messages #4991, 4992, 4993.
